 Design explorations:

Family Hub refrigerator experience:

What we learned:

The users might like the idea, but when the experience starts offering too many options, they abandon the app.
Though the users loved the idea of shopping lists and themed music playlists for cooking and dining, it was too much to process on the daily basis and they wanted to see a more simplified experience.

Next steps:

After MVP launch based on user feedback we’ve outlined the following next steps:

  • Reduce effort and time required to create a meal — Test

  • Offer ‘Speedy bundles’ that require little time and few ingredients

  • Improve search functionality — allow users to search

    by ingredient

  • Create an onboarding experience — Explain bundles and

  • their constituent parts

  • Refine the grocery delivery feature — conduct research to

understand how grocery delivery can add value
